Another thing I am looking at is a daily trend developing from .9717 which is where it opened the European session at.

With my calculations S1 is .9666 and MS2(midway between S1 & S2) is .9635. Points close to what you are saying so what significants are you putting on them

I have closed out of all my positions with the exception I am still long on the gbp/chf. Anybody have any entry strategies for the pound dollar?

The pound dollar is around 20 pips below the daily pivot point and 10 to 11 pips below its opening price and the 38.2 daily fib

It actually did hit the low of 1.9679 and one pip beyond to 1.9678. I wish I was leaning to the short side of the trade yesterday. Oh well get em today.

The pound is currently hoovering around the daily pivot of 1.9739 and the 38.2 fib level of 1.9730 from the previous days high and low. It looks like a good place for a break out in the next few hours.

On the average the distance between the high and low of the day for the pound is 134 pips. So currently the high for this day is 1.9813 if that stays that way you could short the pound dolll target of 1.9679. The current low for the days is 1.9760 ...

The average daily range meaning difference between the end of the days hi and low for the Gbp/Usd this year is 134 pips. The Eur/Usd is 90 pips . So say the low for the Gbp is 1.9760 if it were to move on an average you could set a target of 1.9894 ...

My thought is gbp does because average pip movement for the pound is 130 pips compared to the Euro's 90. The Euro's market opens an hour before the the pound's but it still seems the pound leads the way
