The Ask-Price, which is relevant in your scenario, probably did hit 45. I dont use MT4, but i suppose it uses bid-price charts.

The pip spread is not always low at EFX either. Max spread for cable on the NFP which just got released was 12, compared to Oandas 15. Of course, Oanda showed 15 for a few minutes whereas at EFX it was only for some ticks.

That does depend entirely on the fine print, a lawyer would have to review the agreement to get a definite answer. A bankguarantee normaly is an irrevocable payment obligation for a specified timeframe. Also a bankguarntee isnt free.
