You can have a look at NinjaTrader. You can define exit strategies for trades you enter manually, or you can write fully automated trading systems. Works with MB Trading, IB and others too (i think you have to get version 6.5 beta iirc).

What makes sense for a private trader, doesnt necessarily make sense for an institution. 'Scalping for a few pips using high leverage' isnt infinitly scalable, infact it isnt really at all. The bigger the positions are, the higher the ...

Justin: while you are here, can you confirm that akamai routing technology is actually in place with the current version of remote-trader? I mean that 'global same speed of execution' feature that was talked about in one of your presentations. I ...

I had a brief look the other day: Basically, it does nothing better than the navigator, except that you can define the maximum slippage you accept for one-click trading. There are charts, but its nothing to write home about (you cant even scroll or ...

You dont know how the losses occured, and the cash just disapeared? What does their support say about that? You can download the transaction history/daily reports, what do they say? I think you should be more specific and provide more details, when ...

They only *have* to do what was agreed upon in the documents you signed when you opened the account, which is usually not much. OTOH, they may not even be allowed to tell you, depending on the paperwork between the broker and the bank. I could see ...

I talked to a Hotspot (euro division) rep 2 or 3 weeks ago, and apparently the 10 pip rule is no more(it isnt mentioned on their website too anymore). Also, euro and american divisions have different commissions, euro division is $30/mio dollars ...

The only advantage of efx over Hotspot i can see is the more flexible(small) position-sizes. But its the same everywhere, the small traders have to pay more. Commissions in stocks and futures are volume-dependant too..

Why would this be changes for the better? Clearly, the ideal solution would be to allow FX dealers to seggregate client funds like futures firms, thus providing the same level of saftey of funds like them, and keep an environment with healthy ...

Interesting article on the topic: url Basically FXCM and Oanda are arguing that NFA/CTFC are founded and dominated by futures firms, and that they are trying to skew regulation in their favour.

Smartrouting is only for exchange-traded instruments (except futures) too. You can also correct the Hotspot 10 pip rule.

Sorry, but the only correct thing in the above post is the IB $2.50 minimum per order. You dont have to call them to close a position (??), no routing fee and no fees to change/cancel FX orders. Hotspot had this 10 pip rule some time ago, but ...
