Yes, this looks like a good level. Also, it is the parity level - and that always causes people to take notice of the pair. The area certainly looks like a good place for decent price action.....

On the actual futures chart, there is a gap that goes from 81 or so.......so for me it has to break below 81 on a daily close to get excited to the downside.

As long as we are still under 1.27, I am skeptical. There are theories that a lot of this is coming from the unwind of the massive EUR/AUD short positions.....

This is a great "risk on / risk off" pair. It is also a petrocurrency, don't forget that......most people ignore the oil aspect of the Mexican Peso. Wide spread, but the pip value is much smaller as well........and I agree, that big white candle ...
