Pip Hunter E replied Oct 17, 2007Sadly, yes. I spoke with they yesterday morning. I was seriously considering them due to being very interested in a particular software that supports IB and not my current broker. I really resent the idea of handing them 5 grand just to see some ...

Pip Hunter E replied Oct 16, 2007So I looked into this due to the compatibility with a analysis software I am interested in, and I found that the demo does not have live quotes. They have like 5 pairs quoted on one of their web pages, and that's all you are allowed to see without ...

Pip Hunter E replied Oct 11, 2007This is a very fair and well made point. If it is worth pointing out a fraud action against a "deadpool list" member, I would think it would be equally worthy to note a firm not on said list which has regulatory action against them. Perhaps that ...

Pip Hunter E replied Oct 11, 2007I am trading full time. I tried once before a few years ago (U.S. securities), and failed early due to my lack of discipline. This time I'm trading FX, and I couldn't be happier about gapless mornings. Also I'm older and wiser

Pip Hunter E replied Oct 11, 2007Maybe I should clarify what I'm looking for. I'm not looking for a broker that offers API trading. I'm looking for a tool that can trade at the API level such as ninja trader, but with the lowest language learning curve as possible. I'd like to be ...

Pip Hunter E replied Oct 10, 2007You certainly can, but if you aren't looking at the data other traders are looking at, the data is of no use. If you are plotting anything using daily data, and you are using anything other than a 5P NY close, you are not looking at what most of us ...

Pip Hunter E replied Oct 9, 2007Your broker doesn't matter. The universally accepted begin / end of the FX "market day" is based on 5p Eastern. This is *extremely important* to know if you are using any measurements that are based on a daily FX period.
