Arfer Daily replied Jul 15, 2010Maybe a pending long order above the pins would've been a nice breakout trade? LOL.

Arfer Daily replied Jul 15, 2010I love it when you keep agreeing with me! Even though we were both horribly wrong the first time. Nevermind, it's just one trade.

Arfer Daily replied Jul 15, 2010Er, that eurusd noise has got louder! I'm out needless to say. I'm wondering if everything bad about the euro has already come out and everyone is starting to realise that usd isn't in such good shape either causing the massive move in eurusd to ...

Arfer Daily replied Jul 13, 2010Interesting move on eurusd. Negative news pushed the euro down and then apparently Greece flogged a load of t bills and the price shot up. To me it's just noise and it's still going to make it's slow but steady way downwards but I'm not sure how far.

Arfer Daily replied Jul 12, 2010It's looking more like a doji today so it's a leave. Interesting to see what happens though.

Arfer Daily replied Jul 12, 2010This usdjpy looks interesting but the near s/r puts me off a bit. I'm going to wait for the end of the day and see how it closes. I might try a small position short.

Arfer Daily replied Jul 12, 2010I've added on to eurusd and eurnzd. GbpChf is getting close and UsdChf is going up.

Arfer Daily replied Jul 11, 2010I've had £20 on Spain to win in 90 minutes. I know you're following the Dutch but I think Spain will do it.

Arfer Daily replied Jul 10, 2010Thanks for the tips. Maybe I'll watch a bb inside a donch channel breakout a few times on volatile pairs like gbpjpy but if you've already tested them I won't waste too much time on it.

Arfer Daily replied Jul 10, 2010I wonder if a daily Bollinger band squeeze or Donchian channel breakout system would work well over the lower liquidity summer months?

Arfer Daily replied Jul 9, 2010Nice cars! I went short eurusd this morning. I'm thinking of taking profit at 1.24 just in case, anyone else thinking that? I added on at the top of the last 4 hour candle too, I love this aggressive add on style, if it goes wrong I'll just close ...

Arfer Daily replied Jul 2, 2010I just placed this pending order before the market closed. That little spinning top today interests me. The last time price pinned at 1.26 it shot down to 1.19 just after. There are three possible outcomes here. Firstly the price could just carry on ...

Arfer Daily replied Jul 1, 2010NFP Friday, NO trades. That chart looks more like a break and retest, maybe a sell order below the low?

Arfer Daily replied Jul 1, 2010Yes, I took a loss on eurusd today so I'm flat everything at the moment and sitting and waiting for the next good trade. I'm not sure that watching for trends is such a good idea at this time of year so I'm going to be concentrating on clear bounces ...

Arfer Daily replied Jul 1, 2010Use a metatrader demo with another broker for your charting. It's not always exactly the same as a live feed but on higher time frames it shouldn't make too much difference.

Arfer Daily replied Jun 30, 2010I got stopped out for a reasonable profit on my accumulated trades but I've re-entered short. If you look at the entire last move down it has reached the 50% fib of THAT move. I was looking too close in. I still think it's going down.
