Hmm... highly unlikely. Perhaps some number of pips, but Ueda didn't say this rate hike is 100% happening this week. Inflation came lower than expected, so there is no reason for BoJ to hike again on this meeting.

Intervention by Japan is out of the question it seems before 155 is broken and it's doubtful it'll occur right after 155 or if Japan will let this go even further. Charts suggest USD will the strongest currency in the following weeks.
