I am not best placed to answer but I would say it's a high volume upthrust. The fact the next bar closes up says there is buying present but perhaps in this case not as much as selling.?

Dax put in a decent move to the downside and I managed to catch a good chunk off an m15 no demand with the trend of three timeframes. There were SOW in background on m15 too.
