That's exactly what I do when I have to deal with MT4. Except I also use a little application I wrote with buttons/parameters for sending orders to MT4 (also shows bid/ask and slippage through DDE connectivity). What it really does is send hotkey ...

Cool, thanks. Still it would be nicer (and less lazy) if they also provided their own API and DMA Platform, while keeping the MT4 bridge for those interested.

Splendid.
By "restrictions" I'm assuming you mean the leverage etc.? If so I don't really care. I'm just interested in their commission.LMAX = revolution?!?

Not true. The recent spike problem (two pages ago) for instance was an LMAX feed problem. Of course the direct LMAX access is better than MT4 especially for hardcore scalpers (MT4 is a toy, I've always said that). For regular swing traders though it ...

He just meant that LMAX doesn't provide native MT4 support or a proprietary MT4 bridge, just a 3rd party bridge called PrimeXM, the same one used by the IB's.

yes I just noticed... EURUSD M1 I see. I had the platform running but it's been in the background so I must have not noticed.

@newbie168, thanks for the update. Nope, they both have the exact same liquidity and order handling model.

I'm familiar with LCG's Currenex account. Definitely the real deal liquidity and execution wise. Also in terms of business size, I once knew somebody who had 1 mill deposited with them and could withdraw with no problems. Vcap I never tried but knew ...

So basically they're paying those that were affected by the glitch from their pockets (which they should). Good to know.

I have live tested Dukascopy. That (Russian-owned btw
) company claims to have this huge liquidity network, but at the same time manages to have not so good spreads and bad slippage that never goes in your favor and doesn't reflect the great ...LMAX = revolution?!?

I'm just live testing them. No I'm not paid for this. If they ever start to play games, you can rest assured I'll give them hell like I did with some other brökers.
Will definitely be keeping my eyes open for the activity you mentioned. So far I ...LMAX = revolution?!?

Not trying to censor you bud, speak your mind. Just alerting you to the fact that shouting "OMG SCAMMERS!!!" every time a glitch happens is misleading to readers, and a sign of an unprofessional lack of patience. Only if signing up through the LMAX ...

Stop acting like an annoyingly impatient 15 year old who just lost at some video game and wait until the problem is investigated. It's not like they'll instantly start handing out money the moment somebody complains about something. Most people here ...

Agreed (although I don't think the dip would be very bad). The idea is that I want to at least see this week as having the same low as last week's. Otherwise I am going to assume this is a fake reversal and soon enough we're heading south again and ...
