I have a monthly goal that I set and work towards. That gives me enough trading days to make my target. My monthly target is 30% but I also set a dollar amount that I aim for each trading day. I pay more attention to the monthly target though...

Set a goal for the day... when you reach it ... relax.. if you are going to continue trading, only look for high probability trades...
