Spreadbetter commented Nov 11, 2013Sure, it'll be interesting to see what a .25% cut 'buys'. But it should be measured from October 29/30th not last Thurs. IMHO the ECB wants the Euro v dollar at 130, perhaps as low as 125. I think the rate reduction will be followed by more rhetoric ...
The euro still has a long way to fall

Spreadbetter commented Nov 11, 2013+1, and here we have more evidence of every time the troll talks about trading he reveals that he doesn't trade (ever) and hasn't got a clue on what he's attempting to offer up an opinion on.

Spreadbetter commented Nov 11, 2013You can't fill your (and his) knowledge gap using bluffing and shite.

Spreadbetter commented Nov 11, 2013Firstly you've no experience of what you're attempting to bluff your way through, secondly you stated that trend trading in institutional FX is history when the Cot report proves how wrong you are. Position trading accounts for the majority of FX ...

Spreadbetter commented Nov 11, 2013You failed to read my response correctly, no surprise that you haven't got a clue what you're talking about. If you imagine that hedge funds, their quants and quants or traders at institutional levels, waste their time on the bullshit you imagine ...

Spreadbetter commented Nov 11, 2013There is nothing new in retail, it's all been done, it's all been tried, most has been discounted. The only developments in retail over recent years are 'plug ins' to rip punters off and the con that is ECN and STP and copy trading. On the other ...

Spreadbetter commented Nov 11, 2013Larry Elliot is good but inclined to pen a few lazy pieces during the week, some lifted straight off news agency press releases. Were he has been spot on over recent months IMHO is defying convention in suggesting that the UKs healthy economy is no ...

Spreadbetter commented Nov 10, 2013No idea what you mean by that blurt.
ECB can cut rates further, offer liquidity: Coeure

Spreadbetter commented Nov 10, 2013IMHO neither event will take place short term. The 'shock' of the base rate reduction hasn't yet been fully absorbed by the euro in the markets. I'd suggest that this momentum to the downside still has the potential to breach the 200 SMA. Again IMHO ...

Spreadbetter commented Nov 8, 2013Two more off the top of my head so mightn't be perfect; "I made more money sittin rather than doin" and "you never know 'til you bet".

Spreadbetter commented Nov 8, 2013Anyone ever 'use' or are influenced any of the quotes attributed to him? Here's a selection, that are as fresh today as they were during his lifetime. For me it's these type of quotes that elevate Reminiscences into something quite special and I'm ...

Spreadbetter commented Nov 8, 2013Good shout, yes is the short answer but don't take it as a slam dunk certainty and I'd only be aiming for a few pips, it's still a punt (especially on a retail platform) BUT crucially its a decent punt esp if your stop and risk is kept tight.
Weak October jobs report expected, but what if it's not?
-
Spreadbetter commented Nov 8, 2013I can't see how any retail platform copes with trading NFP; from poor fills, to slippage and not being able to close its a nightmare. Fwiw I'd trade the reaction not the news event, let the first 10/15 min candle after the event close and then enter ...

Spreadbetter commented Nov 8, 2013Ask me wrt your "intellectual level"? Er how does that work? I state that you're holding onto your sanity by a gossamer thread stretched beyond its normal tensile strength? You're unhealthy, you're damaged and are displaying (amongst your other ...
