Its less through 'London capital group'. They want a 35K deposit and min. deal size is 250K instead of 500K. The only reason i don't trade at FXi is it doesn't support stop orders, but i need them sometimes (cant glue my head to the screen 24/5). So ...

GTIS is only a data provider, a marketmaker however needs to quote executable prices. They assemble their own quotes from their liquidity providers, which could be investment banks or other (interdealer-)brokers. Those banks generally dont want ...

It appears Hotspot USA has recently updated their page. It now says $3 Per USD 100k (not $3 per base currency unit, like before), which seems to be the same as at Hotspot Europe now. Mini-trading seems to be cheaper at the Hotspot EU now, since the ...

Apparently they start talking when you do 500+ mio per month. But what good is it when their lowest commission level is where the competition has their standard commission ($30)?

Well i don't know, i personally would prefer it if they woudn't interfere with pricing in any form. If people, like in above postings, are looking to execute large quantities, i suggest to take a look at HotspotFXi itself. They have designed a ...

Obviously, if you think its unfair or too often, you need another broker. I personally can live with it, in my opinion their advantages still outweigh the negatives. I have 2 accounts, one with Hotspot and one with Oanda. I still do most trades with ...

They say they are including HotspotFXi prices into their platform feed. What i am wondering, Dukas quotes in 0.5 pip increments, but HotspotFXi in 0.1 pip increments. So if they indeed do include HsFXi quotes, they are 'invisible' on their platform. ...

To add a protective stop order and a profit target order to your short position, you would use a Buy TTO order with the upper limit price being your stop level and the lower limit price being your target. If you exit the position manually with a ...

That's funny, how can a system-wide issue be out of your control, if it is YOUR system? You are making it sound as if it was the new banks fault, it however sounds like *your* system failed to disconnect the misbehaving bank, and *your* support ...

The only thing you can do is, if you are in a position, offset it with another broker. Apparently, even if it had been possible to get someone on the phone at MB, there was nothing they could do about it since the whole server was down. That is ...

MT4 favorite Brokers - as low as 1 Pip spreads
- shrike replied Jul 3, 2008
I think the confusion stems from Hotspot demo quoting tighter spreads than on Hotspot live. I have watched ATC demo and Hotspot live simultaneously - and they match pip for pip. Hotspot demo quotes are not representative of Hotspot live.
ACT does not have the low spreads it claims.

You can always submit a marketable limit order (for example, a buy limit order 2 pips above the ask-price would try to get a fill at the current ask, but will limit your slippage to 2 pips in case the price suddenly moves).

No requotes on ECNs, but of course slippage on market orders or no fills on limit orders (which is essentially the same as a requote). On Currenex, liquidity providers also have a 'last look' option (can decide to not fill an order when it is routed ...

I'm getting the impression Hotspot is a bit like IB - a solid broker, but sub-par customer support. Returning mails or phone-calls should be a matter of course.
