If you don't mind i would like to add that your strategy would work good in a trending market. Choppy markets can reduce the win rate though. So imho looking for a trending instrument would make a very good setup rule.

spot on well said I agree, technical analysis is useful but very overrated and quite a subjective thing so it will always be leaning on the imperfect side
