Anybody who is short, hold it. We have probably hit another 20 day cycle down. If you lift now, you are going to leave a lot on the table I suspect... why go after 20 pips when you can have 20 days worth? =D

I'll let you know if my model confirms tomorrow, but chances are decent that we are about to enter a SHORT phase for the next 20 (and then who knows) or so days. It will confirm at midnight and I'll check tomorrow morning. My guess is that the phase ...

Almost time to start going SHORT on the LONG TERM - IE for next 30 days or so. A lot of people chased it up trying to SHORT and y'all will start to capitulate and go long now...

(!) WATCH if it can stay below 1.0845... and get ultimately below 1.0835. If so, then the 1.0845 becomes RESISTANCE (SHORT SUPPORT). If it can, we might be LONG TERM SHORT signal from the LONG it was since 3/9. SO watch to see if/that the 1.0835 ...

This could be the day that the long signal from 2/26 and 3/9 turns to SHORT! Need close below 1.0815 to turn the long term signal SHORT (from LONG). Watch 1.08420 for definitive break if you want to be aggressive and SHORT in advance/quicker than ...

Keep your eyes on 1.0815 tonight and tomorrow... if it closes below that definitely, then the long term phase is probably short. My long term phases last about a trading month also FYI.

LONG TERM LONG signal remains. Still a LONG signal on the longer term as long as price closes/opens above 1.0793 (until it definitively closes below there). That is the long term signal line in the sand... EXPECT: 1.08150 to be long support EXTRA ...

Yeah, I might need to eventually go the prime broker path. I was in talks with Citi about bespoke stuff but they would obviously not want to do anything with me until my account was over 1 million. Which to me probably totally makes sense for them. ...

Basically the problem I'm trying to solve is two fold: 1.) There is an eventual limit of 100 lot orders. So anything over that needs to be broken up somehow. 2.) If one uses lot sizes that are too big, you might "walk the book" or create slippage on ...

Ah, great point here. My other thought would be to have only one order out of say a tenth of the total amount at a time. Then once you see that has been filled, put a request in for another. Basically you keep track of what is filled and what needs ...

Nice friend. Let me know how this issue proceeds for you if you have a chance. I appreciate your info. My other thought once I get to bigger size would be to just have a price I'm willing to transact around and just chunk the order up in pieces ...

I will eventually look to FX futures and possibly options. My issue though partly is that I have this all automated. I'd have to convert all the code to C- which is not bad. I'd then have to learn Interactive Brokers API- would be bad. I'd prefer to ...

Ah, I see. I was seeing it this way: Basically, the 10p strategy needs to be more than two times as likely to succeed in order to be "better." Because otherwise you could just double-lever the 20p strategy right? IE the 10p strategy would need to ...

Wait, what? If all things are held equal other than the pip target, this does not make sense. If he is going after 20 pips, then his win at 2X leverage is 40, while the short term scalp would still be (10 x 2) 20. =D
