Alorente replied Jul 31, 2012I have an open short on AudUsd. I will probably hold half of the position to bottom band of H4 and the other half to bottom band of D1. As I explained in another post, I am becoming more of a longer term trader. I used to be a scalper exclusively ...

Alorente replied Jul 31, 2012Right now I show the following slopes for AudUsd: H1: 0.37 H4: 0.22 D1: 0.41 W1: -0.05 When I traded short last night, D1 was 0.39. You donīt need to wait for a close. As long as all 4 slope values are valid in real time, you can trade.

Alorente replied Jul 31, 2012No. You would just use W1 to make sure you have room for price to move in the direction of your trade before reaching the band. You would trade H1, H4 and D1 instead of M15, H1 and H4.

Alorente replied Jul 31, 2012Yes, that is correct. The W1 bottom band (Green Line) is very close to the H4 top band.

Alorente replied Jul 31, 2012I donīt use M15. If the other 4 line up, M15 will also line up pretty quickly. H1 is my favorite. The H1/H4 relationship gives me the best and most consistent picture of the status of the pair.

Alorente replied Jul 30, 2012I entered short AudUsd at 1.0503 and UsdCad at 1.0016. Both have all the TMAs ranging now and there are plenty of divergences on both RSI and Trix.

Alorente replied Jul 30, 2012Another nice way to enter the trade is on break of the RSI trendline (Yellow at bottom on chart attached). Once all 4 Slope values are correct, enter when the RSI breaks the trendline. Right now H1 slope is 0.43 so it is very close to 0.40. All ...

Alorente replied Jul 30, 2012Yes. You continue to use 4 TMAs. Just add the W1 and make sure you have room for the trade to move in W1. 3- Never enter a trade if the slope values are not ranging OR in your favor. Once the slope values are correct, then you can enter the trade if ...
