Yes, thats crucial! If I have a loss of 2% I stop trading for that day. I always use the same position size (0.5%). Imo the problem with consecutive losses is that we want to force a win, instead of getting more picky.

Imo there is no difference with your RR. Adapting a daily strategy to 1h tf will increase your trade frequency and lower your hitrate- but RR stays the same. You have to do the math if its worth the additional working hours or not.
