You have to uncheck Offline chart option. Otherwise the EA won't work! I personally use VPS to prevent the problem of restarting the MT4 platform.

If your MT4 is installed in the default directory, it would be at "C:\Program Files (x86)\MetaTrader4\terminal.exe"

Attached is terminal.exe build 910. You can replace your current MT4 terminal.exe with the attached to update your platform to 910. You need both parts to extract the whole file terminal.exe.
