I don't concider my self a short term trader bob, I've only placed 24 trades in the last 4 months... not sure of the total pips but my account rose 81%. My last trade was aud/usd buy that netted me over 250 pips... closed it on Wednesday.

bob... I don't dispute that the rise of the AUD from around 60¢ a few years ago to about parity with the USD is primarily because of China, however I'm referring to the recent 8½% rise in the AUD... which has EVERYTHING to do with the devaluing USD ...

oh sorry... yes, been trading daily and higher over 12 mnths... I only wait for possible setups on daily or higher. Last 4 months 24 trades, 21 wins. I should add that I don't only trade 3 taps... in fact I've only traded a couple 3 taps the last 4 ...

I saw the setup on the daily as discribed, and dropped to lower timeframe charts to fine tune my entry. Entered on a 15 min chart setup with 40 pip stop, then followed (managed) the trade back on the daily.
