YES on Metatrader 1 lot is *always* $100k worth of stuff, which is really easier to scale than 1 share (I should say 100k of unit of currency)

If I buy $100.000 worth of meta at 180.270 and sell it at 172.540 I end up with : 100000 * 172.540 / 180.270 = $95712 so it's minus $4288 (which is not the correct formula (you need to add conversions) but it's in the right ballpark no?

it looks normal to me those stocks seeems to have high volatility I would scale the lot size using a volatility measure like ATR (the higher the voilatility, the lower the lot)

what lot are you using ? is it standart 1.0 lot ? (or 100k units) because the spread being 10 points you'll have to pay $1990 in spread and com but you only made $900 so ...there is not profit left
