Nice! I'm not really trading at the moment, but I took this trade too, but I think for different reasons... no harmonics, just a deceleration of momentum into an area of support. Entered on the failure of the second test, once the large bear ...

Hi horuxito, it's certainly been an education! I'm now taking some time out from actively trading to focus on my price action analysis :nerd: A happy (and prosperous) new year to all

I'm still working through the YTC materials but so far I agree they compliment this thread's style very well.Ratios & Harmonics: a Different Way to Trade

The only thing you can do is put several fibs on top of each other. Because each fib would have different levels selected you would see different colors. I believe a week or so ago another contributor put up an EA or indicator that would automate ...

Thanks for the tip re: 2M... so with the benefit of hindsight, perhaps I should also have been looking at the 144 tick

If only trades came along like this every time! Price had overcome 1.38000, price had also overcome last significant swing high (dark blue line). The weekly-R2 still stood in it's way. Entry was first bull candle closing above weekly-R2. Projection ...

Just the one entry today for me, and only for 13 pips. But a good opportunity to put into practice some Christmas reading
Whether through chance or otherwise, price did exactly what my bias expected once I actually sat down and did a bar-by-bar ...Ratios & Harmonics: a Different Way to Trade

Have you tried aggressive C's where there is a smaller AB=CD making up the BC leg? I had several of those trades the last week

Well, it has almost been a year since I first saw this thread appear in the forums. At that point, I would probably be best described as a break-even trader who sporadically returned to dedicate some time to forex, and in doing so I jumped from one ...

I think that provided we are all following the same concept, the choice of colours, arrows, rectangles, ellipses shouldn't really be of any concern. But I shall note for future chart postings that you don't like the slanted lines

Interesting, thank you for your thoughts. That is not an interpretation I would have taken because you are depicting bullish momentum while making lower highs and lower lows. Nevertheless, I hope the trade played out for you

@Amit I think we're off on a tangent here... I remain fairly confident I understand depth as per Mr. Pip, but my confusion remains: where are you seeing the increase in depth on this chart you posted? I really can't see it - perhaps you can mark it ...

Hi Amit, I think perhaps my depictions are confusing you: I use slanted lines for depth rather than vertical arrows as my preference (as this gives me an indication of depth's momentum - not something Mr Pip has mentioned but I'm observing ...

Hi Amit, I'm not sure how you think I measured depth wrong? As we are making lower highs/lows, we measure between the swing low to the next swing high (swing points always being subjective... but I still can't get your chart to show an increase in ...
