Thank you for the references. I am learning every now and then Stiglitz views, which question, to say the least, the rationale behind the policies followed in Greece. On my behalf, may I propose Dirk Müller's recently published "Showdown" offering a ...
Tsipras Slams "Criminal" IMF In Defiant Speech
- dionyssus commented Jun 16, 2015
No, I am not thinking at all that the debt being repaid goes to private banks. Somehow back in 2010 and 2012, the EZ banksters (allow the expression) managed to transfer the debt burden to your, i.e. the peoples' shoulders. I don't wonder why they ...

Thanks Ojiego; you do have a point when saying that 5 years is too short a time frame to restructure Greek economy. Nobody would believe that Greek politicians would be able to ahieve such a feat in only 5 years. I also respect a lot your ...

Indeed, older (pre-SYRIZA elections' victory) videos, comments etc do help to see what are the real motives of the protagonists of the "Greek Issue". I haven't watched your video yet, but -whatever it may reveal- it is a good thought on your behalf. ...

Don't be anxious, I think -and hope- it will happen. However, I see you have called Greece "gypsy"in another symplegmatic post of yours. I also see you are trading from the US, the "melting pot" of every low life, jungle creature and scum ...

Indeed, capital control is not that bad. Besides, it is not necessarily that restricting: When I studied abroad, some 25 years ago, and needed money I received it always legally, although Greece was under a capital control regime. I think this is a ...

Basil, welcome to the forum (although the world "girlfriend" you used is insulting), You are not the only one who says so. Allow me to inform you that there are quite a few Greeks who wish the country to be attached to Russia. However, if one looks ...
What's Coming Next for Greece?
- dionyssus commented Jun 13, 2015
If you are asking for a honest opinion, people in Greece are getting tired by the seemingly endless discussions with the creditors. Repercussions to the already crashed economy are evidently negative. This should have ended by now and the government ...

So, "Greek citizens are less likely to buy yet another makeshift approach. A compromise agreement would not be enough to convince them to put their savings back into the banking system". Oh, really? Living in Greece, I can assure you that the ...

Does Greece Have a Diabolical Plan B?

Yes, they do need the parliament's approval. It will be interesting if this approval be secured through the votes of the opposition and not through a unanimous vote of the ruling party(ies).

Tsipras is compromising, but I am not sure about all the parliament members of his party who will have to vote for or against any reforms; we might have surprises that will trigger unpredictable events.

I fully agree with what you are saying on "robber banks", "news" and especially that charts should be the only focus of a trader. I therefore owe you an apology; pls accept it.

OK for the corruption of the PREVIOUS Greek govts - still, what is published for Greece in general is usually BS. But you don't comment at all on the corruption of the EU leaders and banksters. Should I guess there is not a relevant publication?

Interesting thoughts from a High Impact Member of FF. However, two points on my behalf: First, did you already have the necessary time to verify that the new government is corrupt (as indeed were the previous ones)? Unless you don't like the fact ...
