My (uneducated) guess is that it will at least get to support around 93,000. Engulfing candle on the monthly suggests that it might need time to absorb additional supply in the market imo.

Interesting. I've been going the opposite route because of Gary Dayton. He really leans on structuring the markets w/ the trend channels. OTOH, David Weis (and Jako McPorker on YT) rely more heavily on simple price ranges/support + resistance, but I ...

Jumped in MS and MSTR and leveraged to the tits on S&P 500. Don't really have much gunpowder left for anything else. My hope is that the Gold sell-off leads to volatility across the markets at this point. SPY isn't helping. Showing a lack of ...

Frustrating that I didn't get in at the close, but at least my analysis was spot on: image Looks like precious metals are breaking down across the board due to the overnight session. Will see if there's an opportunity to fade a mid-day rally of a ...

Not that I can recall. I have struggled trying to pick tops w/ VSA frequently, so I've probably overcompensated and look for excessive confirmation at times as a result. I'm hoping there's not a huge gap lower tomorrow or anything. I will look to ...

Speaking of No Demand, there were a lot of symbols showing a lack of conviction today. The S&P 500 ETF is one, altho the spread is not as narrow as I'd like and price has cleared short-term resistance: image

Bitcoin seems more bearish IMO: image Strong up bar. Bulls are in control after some consolidation. Price is entering overbought territory though which could spell trouble Price explored new highs and has nothing to show for it. On top of that, ...

Re: the lack of traction for VSA, IMO the fundamentals are unchanged, but the learning path is outdated for the modern newbie. The steps are seemingly unchanged for the last 10-20 years: Read (and reread) the PDF of a 25 year old book (Undeclared ...

Yeah in hindsight, I agree. I can see price being knocked sideways to absorb supply temporarily, but likely not nearly enough to change the bullish background. I think the market volatility, Gold's off-peak volume, and using a 3m chart collectively ...

Gonna revisit the basics and skim some VSA PDFs today. On another note, Gold is looking like it is setting people up for the okie-doke. The futures market has been in regular trading hours for 15 minutes and in spite of making little progress it ...

Tried to day trade today and was consistently off-base. I really struggle w/ making heads or tails out of the price action. Because there's a finite amount of time for the stock market, and it seems to be much noisier than the longer-term charts, ...

Got some much needed breathing room after a retracement. During the initial drawdown, the only thing that kept me in the trade was trust in the multi-timeframe analysis. It's a balancing act between timing the short-term timeframe and the larger ...

Some supply in the S&P today. We'll see how things play out. Was stalking shorts when the breakdown happened so fast that I only got 1/5 the size I wanted (MSTR) and completely missed XYZ. C'est la vie
