This may or may not be related, but I notice their domain name renewal date is July 24th. It shows that it does not expire until 2011, one year from few days ago. It may have expired and they quickly renewed it. This could cause all kinds of bad ...

Boston Technologies has severe issues with their MT4 platform, at least as it relates to FXCM. Frequent disconnects, late ticks, you name it. I can't say the same for any other brokers with BT. They can sugar coat it all they want in this forum but ...

I hate to bring the bad news, but this configuration will not get you away from any windows exploits you mentioned. You are still using those core DLL's, which are what is patched in most windows updates. to make it worse, most people running wine ...

I believe data sent between your MT4 terminal and the broker is encrypted. so a sniffer like wireshark will not help. that being said, I don't think the software supports them seeing your lines. It would not be of any benefit anyway.
Can Oanda see the lines I draw on the charts?

Jason to be fair I can not say that I have heard of issues with FXCM not adjusting accounts (except the ticket reply last page before this one). but you all seem to have issue after issue after issue. your mt4 logs do not look good at all. horrible ...

does not surprise me. We have had this advisory outstanding regarding FXCM issues open since February 23, 2010. Issues were noticed before then. they have known about these issues and not done anything about it. there are plenty of good brokers out ...

I can confirm based on our trader's VPS support tickets that ATC does not seem to have the problems frequently experienced by FXCM.

I agree - this sounds like a problem with your local MT4 install more than the MT4 server. You may also be running low of resources, such as RAM. It could also be an EA you are running, especially if it has a DLL. Make sure the EA is compiled for ...

you would use VNC on the mac to login to the remote windows desktop. It puts the windows desktop on your PC and your applications keep running when you disconnect. there is an added bonus in that the VPS can be very close to your broker so your ...
