It will show up as one aggregated position in the Positions-tab and as 2 individual trades in the trades tab (which can also be individually managed). But it will require more than one click(aka not automatic). There is an Oanda platform guide and a ...
question about order in Oanda
- shrike replied Jul 31, 2009
Now its back to only 3 providers again. Strange. Also, people constantly dicking around with micro lots in the inside market are a total nuisance. There should be an option to only display orders/quotes above a user-definable quantity threshold.

Worried? More like mildly surprised. As for asking MB, in case you haven't noticed, this thread has been started by a MB rep for this very purpose. Thanks for your concern tho.

After a long time i had a look at the MB Level2 screen again today. In the european afternoon/american morning there are only 2 active providers making a market in the majors (one quoteing 3 mil and another one 5 mil, worse in gbp/usd). All other ...

A USD/USD chart would be a flat line with value 1.0, so technically its possible
But yes, OP appears to be confused. How / where to chart currencies not as pairs in metatrader?
- shrike replied Jul 22, 2009
Yes, no quotes for ~15 mins during euro-session today.. To be fair, it usually works quite reliably.

Yes that's a major problem for european customers. Of course it would be possible to hedge the USD deposit, but that binds margin and costs daily swap (as opposed to receiving interest on EUR-deposits with other brokers).

Their so called 'soft orders' are resting on your local computer and are not transmitted to the Oanda servers. That means Oanda doesn't 'see' your pending stop- or limit-orders, but if your computer goes down or you loose internet connectivity, ...

Stocks are not centralized either, there are many different venues where the same stock can be traded (exchanges, ECNs, dark-pools, even OTC). The difference is, that due to regulation, a broker has to fill an order with the best price available ...

Agree, i would immediately sign up again if they would ditch that p.o.s. java monstrosity they call a trading platform. IMO best commission and tightest pricing in the retail sector. They will never do it, but i guess they could attract additional ...

What i am still wondering, most providers quote with 0.1 pip precision nowadays and Duka is still 0.5 pips. I.e. they say they do publish hotspot prices, but if they really do, they alter them. That's not what i call STP anyways. Also, in most other ...

Its easy with USD-based pairs like eur/usd, if eur/usd is at 1.4045 you pay 1.4045 pips per roundturn (with MBT commissions). For other pairs like usd/jpy its different. If its expensive everyone can decide for themselves, other firms that are ...
