hollowhead replied Jun 19, 2013Hey Condor - sorry to hear about your recent losses - it's tough out there this week. How do you get the Kumo Histo breakout to work on a different TF. It doesn't matter what timeframe I enter in the settings it always defaults back to current ...

hollowhead replied Jun 12, 2013As Condor commented earlier, the key is to making these systems your own - there is no such things as a plug and play, because we all trade differently. Having said that, this is how I am using Igor's system. I use Condors template (which you can ...

hollowhead replied Jun 11, 2013I totally agree - I am using Igor's at the moment - it's nice and straight forward. I factor in Pivots S&R, previous week/day highs & lows and I want to see good PA. The sweetest trades have been using Igor's system to enter into longer term trades, ...

hollowhead replied Jun 11, 2013Sometimes, it depends on how I am feeling. If the trend is clear and I'm in a good disciplened state of mind (like today), then I do. I traded 1% per pip, when Favorite first opened up his system, had a great few days, and then a few loses killed ...

hollowhead replied Jun 10, 2013Yea - unfortunately that's the repainting of the TMA - it looks like that after the move. I would post some live charts, but I don't trade using MT4 - I only use it for charting, and place trades on another system. It can all become a bit confusing ...
Daytrading/scalping with high leverage - my proven strategy

hollowhead replied Jun 10, 2013Hope you don't mind me repsonding. I've been using Igor's system for a while now and you are right. I think that's why Condor says he doesn't use TMA for entrance (not that I'm trying to speak for him!). I pretty much only use TMA for setting my ...

hollowhead replied Jun 5, 2013I had the same on my GU trade - it closed off for 28 pips which is fine (probably trailed too close), but the news spike would have taken it to R2, which was my TP. Still, pips is pips and I'm learning not to chase loses (or missed opportunities)

hollowhead replied Jun 4, 2013I would say the move up to the left was a significant size. Considering that, I personally would have wanted the H1 ASCTrend to have turned red to confirm that move was over. Just my opinion though fwiw

hollowhead replied May 28, 2013RJ, on that note how far are you looking for PA to go through (or bounce from) S/R before you consider it broken (respected) - or do you wait for a retest? Thanks

hollowhead replied May 23, 2013Hi RJ - medium term lurker here. I was wondering if you could describe how you see the difference between a bias and trading with the trend? I completely agree that expectations and predications are not helpful, but to me identifying a trend is the ...

hollowhead replied May 10, 2013Devil Yell. Absolutely they are not exclusive. Someone can have both traits in a given context. I suspect traders who are both 'away from' and 'toward', exercise patience, wait for the right setup but are not afraid to let it run for the big win. As ...

hollowhead replied May 10, 2013TBH - I'm not quite sure whether we are agreeing or not. I will say this though - I have only ever had a true test of a method/strategy when I have used real money of a decent size on a real account. And I have lost more than I have won. It is a ...
