I agree.. i like to keep my trading simple too (s/r candlesticks etc)... Price action is king! but i use fibs for confluence...plus also fundamentals...and here I am getting doubleminded about gold... technically i can see the bulls taking over ...

I absolutely love these debates.. The way I had seen this was back on Feb 26-27..gold was going down from 1330 level..but then russia/ukraine issue...added a premium to the price of gold...to 1400..now it sees no real reason to be up...but the mob ...

i agree... i don't usually follow Nfp for trade signals....but i'm looking at the near term fundamental picture...there are not many reasons for prices to stay above 1300...but technically this seems like the case? your thoughts?

i agree more than a 100%..technically it all makes sense... if support holds on 1300...new trend line is also drawn...this makes sense technically....but fundamentally there is no reason why gold should be up in the near term....? i mean ho much ...

My hunch is that this was a false break on the inside candle on the daily chart...after nfp report.. it will fall to 1270 level?but i feel the fall should continue next week? not go up to 1300+ next week...which is where im puzzled?
