ecTrade replied Jan 21, 2010But hey, it keeps these buggers busy with something to do. Who cares how it affects anyone else?
10 to 1 You're done...

ecTrade replied Jan 21, 2010They only had 11 comments posted earlier this morning. Now it's up to 66. I just sent mine about 5 minutes ago. They also must be starting to get pretty backed up, is what I'm thinking. The most current date on the emails is January 15th.

ecTrade replied Jan 21, 2010What information are you required to furnish? I noticed about a third of the comments (4 out of 11? wow!) gave only the email address and name. If it doesn't require any more than that, I wouldn't furnish it, obviously.

Interbank FX Debit Card Debut...

ecTrade replied Jan 13, 2010So, is this the same thing through Zions Bank or, is it something separate? Do you have to open an account with Zions Bank to use it in other words?
Interbank FX Debit Card Debut...

ecTrade replied Dec 15, 2009Yeah, I think that's what I mean. I just didn't take into account the possibility of multiple trades and "varying" lot sizes. I was thinking more of your second example there. Thanks.
IBFX Hedging back in demo
-
ecTrade replied Dec 15, 2009Oh, by "netting" out the hedged trades, does that mean they close out one trade or both trades? If it's only one trade, then you have to worry about the trade still left open. If it's both trades, then it shouldn't matter. In which case the only ...
IBFX Hedging back in demo
-
ecTrade replied Dec 15, 2009Can't you program your EA's so the hedges close automatically? Actually, this might be the very thing I'm looking for. And, if that doesn't work, I'm preparing to start hedging on a separate (IBFX) account, although it won't help in terms of ...
IBFX Hedging back in demo
-
ecTrade replied Dec 4, 2009I have recently tried the Alpari US demo and there's about a four or five second delay when placing orders. I have never encountered this with IBFX, on either the demo account or live. Also, with IBFX, they have it so you can use your old EA's and ...
Alpari vs IBFX
-
ecTrade replied Nov 30, 2009Unless of course they are using the Boston Technology Virtual Dealer plug-in, in which case they can set the delay to whatever (and whenever) they want.

NFA Confirms New Leverage Requirements for US FCMS
-
ecTrade replied Nov 18, 2009The only time I have problems with requotes are when the prices are moving quickly and I try to place trades manually. Other than that, my orders are filled almost immediately.
InterbankFX's new spreads
-
ecTrade replied Nov 17, 2009Hey, I still have a "slow" DSL connection, and my orders are filled almost immediately. So, what is "fastpath?" Is that a software patch that can be downloaded? Of course I could probably just Google it ... and, in fact I might just do that.

InterbankFX's new spreads
-
ecTrade replied Nov 17, 2009I've been trading live with them for the past few months now, and haven't incurred any serious problems yet. In fact when my orders are placed, they are placed almost instantaneously ... not unlike Alpari U.S. (and possibly Alpari U.K.?) which takes ...
InterbankFX's new spreads
-
ecTrade replied Nov 17, 2009Or, if they go with the "variable" spreads, does that mean they can widen them (that is, whenever it is beneficial to them) whenever they feel like it? Of course this is pretty much what all the rest of the brokers do, isn't it?
InterbankFX's new spreads

ecTrade replied Nov 15, 2009The bottom line is still the drawdown. If they start to tighten up on the margin requirements, then you have to be extra careful about what you're doing ... or, at least be aware of how it affects you. Like I already said, it hasn't really been ...
