I post charts occasionally on the CAD/JPY thread. I'm now out of the position post-Fed. Looking to reenter USDCAD short on a test of parity.

Stopped out on the second half at 107.70.. UJ screaming lower. I'll wait for a retrace test of parity on UC and head short from there.

True, I might rather switch over to solely a short UC position if UJ is going to head back lower again (which looks to be the case). Take a strengthening yen out of the picture and concentrate solely upon the dollar. What do you think?

So what's your real time analysis? Do you still have the same targets? Are you a counter-trend buyer here at 9880? I've been short UC synthetically since the 1.02 level (long CADJPY at mid-104). Going to let this one ride until UC shows signs of ...

Indeed! 108.50, I love this pair. I'm glad I held off trying to pick a bottom on the big ride down to 102, I did from a demo perspective just for the heck of it and was way off. I'm taking partial profits here and raising stops on the rest. UJ is ...

A bit dated screenshot, but this was typically the case. UJ never fell below 3-pips. After several calls to VPs at ADM, the spread on UJ was magically lowered to 2-pip (only occasionally). Not very competitive compared to 0.5 pip on IB & Duka, with ...

There is no mention on that site of a Viking Trader platform, nor of a Currenex retail account. Also, Aaron Trade is an IB for ADM, whose Currenex hub I would avoid like the plague (I speak from personal experience).

Then what are you doing living in CT?
And it really doesn't snow as much here in CT, at least compared to years prior. I wish it would snow more.

What success? When were you ever targeting 9950? You never were. Yes, you made one good call three weeks ago, is that what you're still claiming credit for here?

So for half the initial deposit, you get to pay 200% higher commissions? That's still a terrible deal.. Thanks, I realized I goofed later on.

$15 per side is a tremendous ripoff. The actual e-mini futures on the CBOT and CME are $2.40 per side via reputable brokers (interactivebrokers, etc). NorthFinance should really be avoided, they operate without regulations in Cypress. CFDs should be ...

Pip tallies alone are meaningless. Percentage targets should be used. 9k pips represents a world of difference between GBP/NOK and EUR/USD. In any case, if you can return >20% on an annual basis, year in and year out, you've accomplished what 99% of ...
9000 pips a year after spreads

My advice would be to implement a proper stop order, something along the lines of 2-5% of your account. A 400 pip drawdown is completely unacceptable, unless you're trading so small that such a loss constitutes less than 5% of your account balance. ...
