Which would be the same for firms that dont pay interest. There is nothing in the cftc docs that says you can just leave out inactive accounts.

Alright. I think they should include them tho, if you read the wording from this (last paragraph): url Seems they are omitting break-even accounts completely.

Nop, i didint listen to this nonsense. I just think it would make sense that Oanda should be closer to the rest. Possible explanation: Oanda is - afaik - the only one on that list that pays interest on account balance, which makes inactive accounts ...

The Oanda numbers dont make sense. I have nothing against them (i even have an account there), but i dont believe the average Oanda customer is 2x better than the avg customer of the others. A case of creative counting? Cant find the report on the ...

Hotspot and Currenex frontends are done in java too. For everything but very-high freq automated trading (such as marketmaking) java is no problem.

Marex also has quite a big tradingfloor + prop trading division, in addtion to their broker business. Its the result of a management buyout of the tech branch of the then failing refco.

I guess its a legal issue or insurance issue. They deny an account for people with very low net-worth or are inexperienced. You just have to fill in the right answers and it will work. And by the way, Oanda has similar requirements. There was even ...

You gotta read the fine print. For example, FDIC insurance (like for Citi) only covers USD deposits, EURs and other ccys aren't covered (afaik). Not sure if CH bank insurance only covers CHF. Might want to check that. UK has a customer compensation ...

Data was lagged during FOMC again. There was even a bad tick or stale pricing (bid@~1.3110) 2 minutes after the announcement, resulting in a 50 pip spread for a few seconds. Doubt it was a tradeable price tho, no other feed had that. Theres much ...
