If you don't mind my critique: GBPJPY: this PB is very small relative to the previous (BEOB off rising TL) bar, watch out with these. The wick of the pin also doesn't point away from the recent action very much. I see the wick of a few bars back has ...

You're very welcome! As for the PPZ's, but the same goes for all of the other stuff here, really; Start with the easy ones. The really obvious PPZ's multiple touches to both sides, multiple times being respected, etc. It may be an idea to start ...

Hey Mordin, I think this is an indicator you can do without, and if you can't, you know you need some practive drawing PPZ's. I've used the same indicator years back (or it looks freaky much like it), but there's nothing like manually drawn ...

He there, Depends a lot on the area/PPZ. Sometimes the area is still very much relevant on a diffent TF, and then it may be incorporated into the story. But generally, you want the area you're going to, to be respected on the TF you're trading. ...

Haha, 't is getting better and better
! I hadn't picked up on the box you marked, but that's the kind of thing I look for when I've narrowed the selection. What caught my eye immediately was the PPZ of protection just below the close, beautiful! ...james16 Chart Thread

Rex, First and foremost, I trade demo; so for the insight on how trading is different, Mike has more to offer. In my experience watching stocks is good to focus on quality. Simply because when watching 2000+ market without being picky, you end up ...

Hey Rex, In the meantime, you could check out equitties. I'm doing the Russel2000 scan now (at investing.com). Finviz.com is a good alternative. Anyway, lot's of charts to excercise patience.

I actually go both ways in that I try to point out PPZ's and subsequently wait for price to approach, but I also try to find area's were PA may be bouncing off of, if I didn't have the PPZ on my charts. I usually just leave my annotation for as long ...

Hey mordin, Have you tried trading naked charts? Clutter is your enemy and indicators are usually more of a hinderance than a convenience. Try focusing on the biggest, most important pivot zones only, so as to keep the pickyness up. As you've found ...

And then there's USD/JPY, that broke out of it's box: image And shows divergence: image A retest of 122.00 - 122.10 is quite possible I suppose.

Hey Mike, Nice trade! The divergence is impressive indeed. I was chased out at BE on U/C, as I didn't feel like holding on to trade in nomansland on friday. As for the TP, I was in doubt whether I should just have close when it started boxing above ...

I see Habeeb. Personally, I drew the trendline off the lows and the BUOB seemed to be floating right in the middle. Moved up a bit it does look better.

Hey habeeb, Nice pin, you have me wondering, how did the BEOB at a crappy location and the small size of the PB compared to it, factor into this position? And finally, I extended your FTA a bit further and see it's quite a beauty, isn't that where ...
