Schmidt replied Jan 12, 2016Yes, the Options are Index Options, not Future Options and they are traded from 8:50-17:30 CET, but the Dax Future is traded from 7:50-22:00 CET.

Schmidt replied Jan 11, 2016Sometimes. I daytrade Futures and Forex, but last weekend I was holding CL Puts for instance....felt better holding Puts than shorting Futures over the weekend. I'm barely trading Option Strategies. Not too experienced with that.

Schmidt replied Jan 11, 2016You'll have to get used to the TWS, definitely not the best Charting Software. But it has all I need and a lot of features. You can not use MT4 with IB. So if you need better charting software, you need something like Ninja Trader.

Schmidt replied Jan 11, 2016Margin Requirements are less on covered calls. What is your Trading Platform? Do you use TWS? If so, you can click on New Window - Strategy Builder When you click on some contract the Window will show you the margin Impact at the bottom.
