PA is an art that takes many hours of screen time to get a feel for. Some get it some don't. There are simpler ways to make money with low risk. Martingale is only gambling when used in a market unsuitable for the strategy.

What makes a martingale strategy so difficult with forex is that you can't define a bottom where price will stop and turn around. If you trade E/U long martingale, where is the point that it will stop falling so that your trades will go into profit. ...

I'm glad you were successful in your search for a broker that allowed you to trade on your terms. The flexible position sizing is a big plus. It makes for very precise MM.

You can zero out the dollar exposure with eur/usd and usd/chf. current price of eur/usd x number of lots = usd/chf lots ex. eur/usd @ 1.4414 x 10,000 = 14,414 usd/chf

Yes I do. It's easy enough to test what I'm saying by opening an FXGame account and placing random trades. I trade a modified grid strategy. My system won't work if I cannot close newer trades either manually or with TP.

Seems that each broker interprets the ruling differently. My broker said that a stop order is not the same as a SL or TP on an individual trade. They still allow SL and TP on individual trades without affecting earlier trades. They also still allow ...

Oanda said when this whole thing started that they were already FIFO compliant according to their interpretation. They will not make any changes. The do not have a month end statement. Their transaction history is continuous.

I just checked the transaction history. The closing trade was linked to the newer trade when it was closed. My oldest trade is still in place.

In situations where there are multiple trades open, the "close" button will only allow you to close the oldest trade in each currency pair. I just tested this on Oanda. I was able to close a newer trade by clicking on the trade and submit to close. ...

Respectfully I fail so see why his presence or lack thereof matters. The method is clearly detailed in the PDF. The pattern I see here at FF is for a simple, logical system morphed into a shell of the original after thousands of posts.

S/R levels I'm keeping an eye on — Support at 3500 Resistance at 4025 3723 area is most significant to me at this time because it been used as S and R recently. Looking to trade off these levels.
