Just to make sure, did you give them your bank's SWIFT code too?

Technically you should be doubling it (0.8) to account for the fact that your trades are round-trip. How large were your average trades? If they were anything less than 1M (10 lots) then slippage should not have been issue, unless you just happen to ...

You're right, good clarification. I didn't account for any spread differentials, which aside from some of the EUR pairs, look to heavily favor ATC, by a margin equal to or exceeding the rebate factor if the MBT entry is a limit.

True, it swings both ways, notional rates were great when GU was north of 2.0. Not so great when AU was <.7500. While on the topic, none of the ECNs were really beating Oanda on a total cost (net commission) basis on most pairs. The MBT program ...

It depends entirely on one's trading style. I was already using limits on entries, hence MBT's program has been wonderful. Although many on these forums might discount or overlook the spread/commission factor, lowering your costs over the long-term ...

I'm sure they would too, and I'm sure they weighed the pros & cons (I don't think they'd have a problem raising the $20M for net cap). They're one of the biggest IBs, so they probably have a very good rate agreement with FXCM. Even still, I ...

I agree, overall they're going in a good direction, they've been on the right path since they first hooked up with Hotspot Retail pre-FXCM. Their rates do leave a bit to be desired though, especially in light of MBT's liquidity rebates. I would like ...

That's the current order handling they employ, not the proposed 'upgrade'. I guess they're switching back to the old bridge method of handling partial limits..? Glossed over this on the first glance, thanks for bringing it up shrike. This seems like ...

I'm sure this was an FXCM-imposed limitation (not ATC's fault), but I'm surprised this was the case until now.

edit - they're back up. They didn't even ping when they were down, so it looks like they switched hosts altogether. Either way, it's odd to have such a downtime during the business day like that..

Pivot levels are calculated based upon a 24-hour cycle ending at rollover (1700 EST / currently 2100 GMT). If your MT4 broker doesn't already have the daily candles start/close at that time, you'll want to use an MT4 pivot indicator that allows for ...

This doesn't make sense. A sell limit is for execution at the limit price or higher. If price was already higher than the sell limit at the time you submitted the order, it would have been instantly executed.

Possibly, but it was a pretty big shift. All told, I had suspicions the earlier figures were being multiple-counted, and that the current liquidity figures are more accurate. FXCM bought ODL. Integral (TrueFX) is just a technology company which ...
