tellboy replied Oct 9, 2017Hi Guys. I am in transit driving across Europe back to the UK, so I am out of the picture until next week. Take care all.

tellboy replied Oct 5, 2017I agree. If there is synchronicity with the 7 am candle on a 15 m chart then enter at 7:30 after the pullback. But if nothing happens at 7 we can go to GBP pairs and wait for 8 am.

tellboy replied Oct 5, 2017Hi there 4pipsake. May I suggest you go back to the top of the thread and revisit the strategic rules. You will find the answers you are looking for there. If you follow these strategic steps then you will get better results. Best to all.

tellboy replied Oct 5, 2017My stop loss is set at 20 pips, but I hardly ever allow it to reach that point. If price reverses after my entry I usually pull out at about 10.

tellboy replied Oct 4, 2017Hi there Goodways. You seem to using language (terminology) that doesn't quite fit with the strategy as defined in the first post to this thread. Today, none of the criteria for good basket trading with any of the major currencies were present. ...

tellboy replied Oct 2, 2017Monday 2nd October and good morning fellow basket traders. Today shows us an example of a perfect pattern with the USD pairs grouped nicely at the top of the pairs strength table. I was actually looking at the EUR pairs and noticed the bear move ...

tellboy replied Sep 26, 2017Naturally I have had negative end of month in the past, but as I have applied the rules my success rate is becoming constant. This is the only strategy I use as I have other things to do in the day. If I haven't made a trade by 7:30 then I'm out for ...

tellboy replied Sep 20, 2017As a continuation of the previous post, here is the outcome of those news spikes on AUD and NZD pairs at 7 am this morning. Notice how every single one, without exception, retraced before continuation of the spike direction. With the AUD pairs, ...

tellboy replied Sep 20, 2017Although it is wise to stay out of the market when high-impact news items are released, there are opportunities for trading on the impact of some such releases. This morning at 7 am GMT+1 a news item was released by the US FOMC economic projections. ...

tellboy replied Sep 19, 2017It was a pity today that currencies paired with the very weak JPY reached a sharp peak at 6 am GMT+1. This led to inevitable retracements on all pairs which is something to bear in mind for the future.

tellboy replied Sep 18, 2017Don't be dismayed if the EUR pairs are not synchronized as often as we would like. There is an excellent alternative, using exactly the same strategic criteria that can produce a result each and every day, but with a different major currency. This ...

tellboy replied Sep 18, 2017Monday 18th September. At 06:30 (GMT+1) the strongest pair on the currency pairs table was AUD/JPY, with all JPY pairs grouped together to show a very weak JPY against all other currencies. So I chose to go with a weak JPY, but I made a simple, yet ...

tellboy replied Sep 18, 2017If we follow the rules there should be a basket trade on at least one major currency every day, sometimes two currencies. It is good to be cautious and conservative until the system has proved its worth and we have the confidence to trust it. See ...

tellboy replied Sep 15, 2017Friday 15 September at 6:30 (UK time) NZD/JPY was top of the pairs strength chart, and still is as I post this report with a profit of 90 pips (see the charts below). So for traders who want a longer intra-day trade with a higher target this was the ...
