FTSE Progress in 2014/15
Started Nov 19, 2014|Trading Discussion|5 repliesHi all, Where do you see the FTSE heading over the next year? I believe it will end the year ...
lost out on this on eur/usd but made more from the FTSE increase. not too bad and i've learnt a bit from it lol
ooh exciting! The irony is i will be a bit distracted at the time because I will be in a trading and investing society for my university lol
Ok thanks, what kind of pip movement are we talking? I'm not quite sure what to do with my EUR/USD short that's currently 23 pips in the red. I see that the gains made in short time periods over the last few weeks have always been erased after a few ...
As a new trader, this is my first FOMC. What kind of effect is it likely to have?

So you think the FOMC could respond to good EUR data with positive USD hints that start the EUR/USD heading down again? This consolidation period is really annoying me ![]()
Yes it is feasible for it to reach 1.258 before falling again in my opinion.
Much less action in Asian session so I don't think there'll be too much change until mid/late morning (if you're in GMT/CET).
Recently, whenever we've had a day dominated by bulls, it's then followed by a day of bears, hence why it's just been moving sideways. It would surprise me if this didn't continue tomorrow and we don't end up going to 1.248 or below.
Interesting, that kind of sentiment seems to be becoming more and more popular.
No I think the resistance at 1.2581 will hold. It didn't even increase much after the good results earlier. Having said that, things normally work differenty on friday, esp with Mario speaking. Friday is your best hope in my opinion.
Dull afternoon. 6 hours of practically no progress. I wish it would test 1.245 again but I don't think that's gonna happen today. Even just 1.249 would at least be a bit interesting.
