Well it is, but you have to rewrite some parts. It is fully object oriented, and somehow they decided to go for CFTC rules and allow one position only per symbol. Anyways, it's performance is way better and it finally supports Classes.

Ah thanks. You know any broker offering MT5 by now? Having some bridges to feed.

I'm GMT+1, there is no setting in MT for that. I tried to change my computer timezone but that didn't help, not even after restart and for new bars being received (could live with redownloading the history). Maybe the broker.

That JForex platform isn't usable for charting, and my timezone offset is a pain in MT so I can forget about my data cache. Anybody else in my situation? What charting package should I use (having charts in GMT)?

I really like your optimism
. If those things happened to me, my day Was ruined, I would lose confidence - whenever I ignored that fear and simply assumed that it would range back to my tp again although currently going the other direction, my ...EURUSD

IC, doesn't invalidate or change anything of the overall predictions then I guess (if they were done correctly).

Ay, agreed. Thing is, I'm an extreme sceptic, I could hit myself for it sometimes, but that's my nature. I wouldn't use any indicators, draw lines etc. unless I knew what they represented and then would argue that they cannot represent anything and ...

Now that I'm sure that it only takes discipline and that there is no hidden secret I'm quite sure I'll manage that. Thanks for your support.

I guess I'm lacking the final strategy and thus confidence. Your earlier posts may help here.

Sounds familiar to me. I've been through that already, though I shouldn't have paused for 2 years, just trying to remember all of that experience. Right now I'm having the problem of closing losers too early..

Yeah, thank you for sharing. Will take a while though till I reach that level of confidence, I'm going for not risking more than 0.5% of the account right now.

Hahaa, no worries, I appreciate it. Guess it's even more difficult to withstand that since I'm used to making indicators. But he is damn right, that's of no use, it disconnects you. The goal is to reduce information on screen and have it at hand ...

You're right, have to be much more serious with it, it's not a game finally. Would you mind describing your approach to risk management? like what percentage do you risk on how many positions per trade with which leverage?
EURUSD

you're kidding, to have that amount I'd have to have a matching account size (better than leverage, I'm on 1:10 which is still too much). for now I'm happy if I can survive and pay the electricity bill of the earnings.
