Even if it doesn't make it as a profitable EA it'll make a bloody good alert system for TMS traders. The USD/CAD trade today is a good example of where a bit of an eyeball check of the daily could have saved a failed trade. Although in a strong ...

counter trend trading is too risky to be automated, when V10 comes out with its email alerts, I'll set up two separate sets of robots one set to counter trading on but set to alert only and the other set to counter trading false and set to allow ...

Ok two trades so far today with V8 (counter trading off) EURNZD -60 pips (was a good entry but it set the SL too tight, it only just took out my SL by a pip!). The trade would have been +90 with a slightly looser SL. EURCAD +10 - would be about 40 ...

Best to ask yourself why they these trades are failing, I found that early on my SL was too tight. Try increasing the factal offset to 20 or setting a standard SL e.g. 100. Are winners turning into losers? try turning move the SL to BE on or setting ...

Yesterday was very flat - in my view the correct response from the robot should have been not to take any trades on the H4

The EA only took one trade for me today (counter trending set to false). EURGBP at 10:09 GMT. It appeared to take the trade on an open candle. I thought this EA has been setup to wait for the close over the EMA. If it had waited for the close of the ...

Does this EA only trade after a confirmed TDI cross (e.g. it waits for the candle to close and the cross to be confirmed). I thought it did but since upgrading to V9 it seems to be taking trades on open candles before the candle has closed and the ...

I had some possible bugs today with V9, I've PM'd seller about them so there unconfirmed at the moment, but to be safe if you haven't upgraded to V9 yet i'd advise possibly sticking with V8 for now until Seller can confirm whether there's a problem ...

V8 - counter trend trading turned off. - finished +80 for the day 4 winning trades, no losses. Not bad for a difficult trading day. It would be nice to have an option to automatically close 50% of the trade out when it hits the ATR TP and then let ...

I got a nice 46 pips from a GBPJPY move today. It definately seems to be effective at picking out good TMS entries. I think the only question mark in my view is the R&R. I think BigE recommends moving your SL up to BE + spread at around the 25-35 ...

For me if all other rules were met (BigE's rules and Bez's fine tunings) i'd be happy to trade, yes. You can eyeball it as drifter says, or use something like the non repainting version supertrend indicator, or the HA MTF indicator I use. Its what ...

I agree with Bez that the daily trend is the most important on the 4HR (being the next TF up). Its a very nice bonus if the weekly and even the monthly is going in the same direction as our trade but waiting for this would rule out too many trades. ...
