hiredwhip replied Mar 23, 2015This truck is a '91 Chevy Silverado.....4.3 liter V6......Runs like a top and can pull a lot of weight on my 16 foot trailer.......Tractors etc.........It's 35 to 45 Thousand to replace it......And then you get an alum engine and automatic ...

hiredwhip replied Mar 23, 2015Hope you are right.........The part is an obsolete oil dipstick.....I broke off the original removing it and had to fish the lower end out of the tube with a magnet....I now have a shop towel stuck in the tube to keep the chicken feathers out.....
