If that is so, then why did it take till 1025am for it to get above 1.9793 level from 835am. Once it did breakout, it moved higher. It only pulled back 10 pips when it reach the previous 1.9793 area.

You might know where a MA sits. Price doesn't. MA's work to a certain degree like anything else. But like someone said already it is a little self-fulfilling due to their popularity. MA are probabily the first and most widely used form of TA.
