I'm just trying to find out what those, like you, who are successful with this method use regulary. If by money management you mean risk control. No problem there. I can however possibly see how many pips past the close making a difference. Too ...

Is that hangman on the EU 15M a reentry candle? And if so, how would you enter a few pips past it?

Looked it over and the manual again. He just say, "a few," in both places. I coulda sworn I had seen 10 pips in a post there somewhere. Anyway what do you consider a few? And it is differrent for each pair? And what do you base it on? Sorry if I ...

Got my sell stop set up for that one too. Entry is 10 pips below the last bars low right? I noticed that wick went just above and into the dragon tunnel. Do we put the entry below the wick or below the body? EDIT: Just looked at the manual, unless ...

Thank you soooo much. Sorry about the mistaken identity. I see other people have made the same mistake. Already took my first 4 live trades with this method. Though with small lots since I'm new with this. (I always try things live ) One small loss ...

Downside next week? — Looks like EU may have done a weekly retrace. Just tested the tenkan-sen line on ichi charts. What does everyone think? Possibility of shorts being much stronger next week?

5 wins in a row today using ALF to scalp in the 15M for a total of 59 pips. Made up for my losses I incurred by holding on to long and trying to hit home runs every trade. As long as I don't let winners turn into losers I think I'll do good with ALF ...

Ya I thought about that, but uuurgh I hate doing that. I'm more of a one trade a time guy. And then if the initial entry goes south, thats two trades I have to try and close quick. I'll think about it, maybe the only way to go.

Ya, that's the krux of the problem. Sure if I get a whole lot of 20 pip winners vs 20 pip losers, no problem. But, If I could find a way to get the big runners it would make up for more of the losers and make for a better overall method. BUT, if I ...

A question for the 15M ALF traders..... I'm finding that I'm killing myself and letting profits turn into small profits or even losers sometimes. I had like three trades in two days that if I had just set a TP of 20, I would have hit it, before my ...

Just did my first successful ALF based trade on the 15M. Got up at 6, wanted to be ahead of the news at 7:30 It was not a text book entry, but to me it looked like a retrace and likely to continue short. It was more or less, went against me by ...

Does anyone have a direct answer to the color change question. Thanks traderunner for your input, but I wanted an answer about color the color change exit, not on ways how to hold on as long as possible. Looking at the charts of ALF I can see that a ...

If we want to use the candle opposite color change method of exiting an ALF trade, do we wait until the candle closes, or as soon as it shows any color opposite? For instance if in a short trade, then the next candle turns green (as it starts) do I ...
