ecTrade replied Feb 8, 2010There are two files. One is the EA and the other is the indicator. So yes, the indicator goes in the indicator folder and the EA (the one that says "EA") goes in the EA or "experts" folder.

ecTrade replied Feb 8, 2010You can try this. Except you will need to put the indicator in a separate folder than the EA. It will buy and sell based upon the indicator signals though.

ecTrade replied Feb 8, 2010Then there's NN Trend Predictor, although I'm not sure juannie is ready to share it with everyone yet. I still haven't had the chance to look at it though. Then there's what I'm trying to set up here in Dazz Plus ... And, although it's only profit ...

ecTrade replied Feb 8, 2010Yes, slippage is more critical when you are working with smaller TP and SL values. This is why I was trying to correct it.

ecTrade replied Feb 8, 2010Sorry, but I haven't worked with dates that much. I doesn't sound like it's terribly complicated though. I'm sure somebody else should be able to help. Or, if I do take a shot, you can start by telling me the difference between your time zone and ...

ecTrade replied Feb 8, 2010Yes, although if you choose options 5 or 6, it bounces back and forth without the indicator (after it hits the second loss). However, I really haven't had the chance to check and see if it's working properly. I just got it working last night. Yes. ...

ecTrade replied Feb 8, 2010Yes, so you have to kind of decide which way the market is going before you start trading. After that, the indicator (after the first alarm) will decide which way the trends are going. I don't understand what you're saying? I don't know enough about ...

ecTrade replied Feb 8, 2010Basically all you are doing is setting a mode, which selects either Buy or Sell, or both, when you select the indicator option. I think it's probably best described in this post here. I also follow up with different parameters in this post here.

ecTrade replied Feb 8, 2010No, I haven't been watching this. I'm about to give everything the once over real quick though (I changed a lot of things yesterday and might have messed something up), to see if there's anything that might be causing that.

ecTrade replied Feb 8, 2010It could be slippage. Is it doing it all the time? If it is, and you get the exact same value every time, it might be something else. If it does all or most of the time but varies, I suspect it's probably slippage.

ecTrade replied Feb 8, 2010Speaking of which, I just modified the comments parameters and uploaded the EA again. And, while I'm getting duplicate orders (set at options 0,2,1), I'm reasonably certain it's happening before this ... at least with my own testing. And here, I'm ...

ecTrade replied Feb 8, 2010That's because it's less complicated. Maybe it's better that way? ... Hey, at least we know it works.
Yeah, maybe we should try to stick with basics first, and not try to add everything all at once? But hey, did anybody notice the comments field ...Need help of programming this EA

ecTrade replied Feb 8, 2010All I can figure is it must have something to do with the way the broker handles the script. Either that or I'm not implementing the code correctly? That's always possible too. Have you tried the EA with the order modify features disabled yet?

ecTrade replied Feb 8, 2010Okay, I just disabled "both" order modify features. The other feature appeared to be acting up as well. Will have to try and implement them later once everything else appears to work. Or, perhaps enable them in only one or two options? So, you might ...

ecTrade replied Feb 8, 2010There's no doubt it has something to do with this feature I added. But, like I said, it appears to be working okay with me. I suppose I can add the option to disable it though, if it starts acting up? So it looks like it's doing it every time. Is ...

ecTrade replied Feb 8, 2010I just tried it (4,0,1) live on a IBFX 4 digit account with EUR/CHF and it appears to look okay. Is this something that happens every time? Does it snap back automatically where it's supposed to after one or two ticks? Oh, the 5 digit broker I use ...

ecTrade replied Feb 8, 2010That is kind of weird looking, I don't know? What option were you using? What about the indicator? I noticed this is for 4 digit broker. I've been testing mostly with a 5. Maybe I better check?

ecTrade replied Feb 8, 2010No, I haven't noticed that, although I added the feature (below) to automatically modify the SL and TP levels if there is any slippage by the broker. But no, it shouldn't be off by that much ...
