Been using this tool for as long as I can remember, great work Habeeb.
If you do an update in the future, an option for mid-pivots on the dailies would be great. I PMed you about doing this myself a while back. I tried to work with the code from ...Automated Daily/Weekly Pivots here

I don't often see a substantiative widening in spreads during the Asian session, except for the Monday morning (US Sunday evening) session. Sure, cable is typically 1-pip during the US & European hours and 2-3 outside of that. But to the point where ...

I was alluding to the rudeness, which I felt was out of line. We try to treat everyone here with respect even when we disagree. To sum everything up, there is much more of a distinction between dealing desk vs futures than there is between FX ECNs ...

fxtrader42, Your post is out of line. Phil's points are from the perspective of traders, as in everyone here. And this is a discussion about market makers/dealing desks, not the entire spot market. Yes if you're an interbank desk, the liquidity & ...

I have to figure out a way to delete my posts in that thread. My response about their swaps was woefully inaccurate.
They in fact offer very competitive swap rates. It's the format in which they publish them (as negative basis offsets) ...Dukascopy (questions/answers/info...)

fxtrader42, Great post about the Currenex model. Unfortunately there are such vast differences between Currenex hubs, it can lead to some large variances of opinion among traders. Comparing ADMD's hub to Cantor's hub is practically night and day. ...

Great info BKing. I assume the same or lessor rights are given to clients at overseas-based brokers in the event of bankruptcy. This is making me consider ever more seriously the segregated bank account feature at my ECN..

ADMD makes a mockery out of Currenex with their spread padding shenanigans. I would avoid them like the plague. Any other ECN, or any other Currenex hub for that matter, is a much better solution.

I just gave the demo a quick test, here's a list of initial pet peeves.. - It's bad enough when a broker doesn't show their swap rates on their website, CitiFX doesn't bother showing you anything (spreads, commissions, swaps, margins, etc). - Any ...

Adding 0.5 pip to GAIN's spreads and still charging a commission should be considered fraud, period. This is exactly why I dumped TradeStation after 1 day (they don't offer a demo of their feed, otherwise I would've avoided a hassle). TradeStation ...

Nicely done! I just sold at the daily R1. That's a big enough 2-day move for me. edit- Just saw that was a demo account, nicely done nonetheless. Next time jump on board with Dutch and me.

Yes finally, I should have bought more once the overhead downtrend line was broken earlier today, but I was mostly trading pound pairs. I'm not thrilled with my entry on this in the low 107s. That great bounce off the lower trendline Friday was a ...

I agree with you there, MetaTrader is the crack that keeps us coming back. I'm sure those of us who use MT4 demos but trade with ECNs are a growing number too. From all of us, I say thanks to those who are supporting MT4 brokers so that we too can ...

If you're making the argument that the Virtual Dealer plug-in is acceptable as a trade off for "free" charting, it doesn't hold much weight. Basic charting (i.e. MT4) is essentially free. You can download NinjaTrader and use it with yahoo for 100% ...
