BTW, Ikon live chat just told me commission is $20/m per side - not $10. Spreads are good. I hate the orderentry-form of this viking platform tho. Unfortunately its apparently not possible to use the "classic" currenex frontend.

It is indeed a bit confusing. There is Ikon-GM, IkonFX.com, IkonCapital.co.uk and then Ikon-Royal.

Wouldn't have thought that is possible in the EU. Soliciting customer funds w/o license - thats worse than Cyprus.

$10 is dirt cheap - does this involve a minimum monthly volume quota or similar, or is this rate available for every one? Is this on the viking platform or their Platinum thing?

FinFx does not appear to be registererd with the finnish regulator. url Make sure what they are doing is actually legal (by asking the finnish regulator or the ombudsman) before you send them cash - might be regretting it otherwise.

"interactive, hotspotfx, all the bucketshops etc ... all crap" I think the OP is on a goose chase here. You think singlebank portals or wholesale ECNs are that much better for 5-10mm trades than those? Maybe you can save a few tenth of pips in ...

Yes, i dont know what it is with usd/jpy and retail - the average Oanda customer is heavily long since atleast May last year, too. Every other pair is around 45% - 55% net long/short, but in usd/jpy the Oanda-customer knows only one direction...

You can read the Oanda forum, there is quite a bit of whining about it too. Duct-taping MT4 to an existing solution rarely appears to work very good. Dukas apparently gave up on this. Its more of a workaround than anything else. MT also seems to ...

They can do a whole lot if they so please. They even made the swiss big-dick investment-bank UBS pay $780 million and give out their customer list. Imagine what they can do to a PO-box in belize.

I meant market-access to european futures/stocks rather than an MBT UK-presence (or where ever). I understand Penson could handle this easily.. Did you stop offering bond-trading? Cant find anything on the new website.

Its neither, tickvolume is just the number of ticks that occured during this bar.I.E. if price changes 10 times during a 5 minute bar, it will have a tickvolume if 5. It has nothing to do with volume (neither traded nor quoted).
