It's the best of the scenarios I've ever ran with. Iirc it 'works' roughly 2 out of 3 NFP prints, however, it's a simple day trading play to capture circa 20 pips on a R:R of 1:1.

PA is no more reliable than any other method, or indicators. Sure indicators lag, but so does price on the dailies, which for the majority of retail traders is the only frame they should be trading off.

You could take that view of any form of pattern recognition, just follow price, on a daily time frame, it's not difficult really is it?

The simplest comparison is versus this time last year; December 2012 was 118K and Jan 2013 was 192K. December 2013 229K and Jan 2014 238K. Huge like for like improvement of close on 50%.

IMHO it needs to be set at a level to prevent a revisit during obama's term, perhaps 20/21 trn, however, the repubs want them to keep coming back (tail between their legs) every six-twelve months.
