Are you running it on D1 timeframe? If so, it takes a few days for the EA to receive a valid signal to open a position. For testing, you can run it on lower timeframes such as H4 and H1.

The EA opens a position only if the adx_TOMTOM is red. In the chart, the adx is gray. I can change the logic so that the EA opens a position when a Vdub signal shows up and the adx value is either red or gray.
