Watching this too. Hopwfully spreads stay this low and dont widen again, like when they started out. DAX looks good too, often <0.5 points spread, less than 1 tick in the future. Footsie as well as U.S. indices aren't too bad either. Fixed income ...

Cantor sent me another login. This one is way better (looks similar to lcg, maybe not quite as deep). Still different from the website, where there is often 10+ M on the top. Also not really impressed by the $30..

flashcall: i think the main problem here is that the FX ECNs do not publish authoritative rulebooks about how exactly they execute orders, like exchanges do, so one has to rely on second hand information, or what (more often than not) clueless sales ...

wrt Cantor: they sent me a live-view login, but pricing is definitely different from what they show on their website with delayed prices. Spreads aren't that bad, but a little less tight than on the website, and liquidity is way less. on the website ...

Oanda vs IB vs LCG Currenex

Whats the difference between pret and FxTrades? Im seriously considering this. Any words on commission? Upon reading their site again, I guess the $10 are only for people who commit to some serious monthly volume..

Because on MT a point is 0.1 pips, so actually GBP/JPY spread is 7 and not 70.

They stop charging commission for passive orders for a month now. url Its sort of underwhelming that this is not a permanent change. LMAX is very late to the fx/cfd retail market - the pie for newcomers is small already. I think they need to be ...

Doubt this is the case here(while there are undoubtly alot of user error cases). The first time this was posted here (and this specific incidence took even longer than a minute IIRC), JLB explained indepth what and why it happend. So its confirmed & ...

So if the market 'moves around', its ok for a market or stop order to take up to minute to fill? Ok... Obviously there is a reliability problem in their order execution logic, under specific circumstances. Just because you have been lucky, doesnt ...
MB Trading Futures - Introduction

Wondering if MB uses the same mechanic for marketable limits, or if they would execute faster in this scenario. A market/stop order taking a minute to fill is not really acceptable anyways. Continously trying to send FOK orders to LPs appears just ...

I went thru my trades for the last 3 months, and the new MB commission would come out at slightly below $18/mm in my case. Not bad. On the flip side, their spreads in usd/jpy and gbp/usd could be about half a pip tighter compared to other firms.

"The Limit Orders will be sent as a Market Order once the market price has reached your limit price." That would be called a stop order everywhere else.

I dont know anything about them. They are a white-label partner of lcg. That means they probably only have sales and support people, all the actual trading and things that involve your money (account, backoffice etc.) are done through lcg.

Any Opinions on InterTrader-UK

It is true that in the rates market, like in any market, there is a bid/ask spread. Brokers do mark up that spread - in the case of Oanda its around 50 basispoints for eur and usd. Its not some evil scheme by Oanda. You can question if that markup ...

Yes its a matter of habits, i only use limts/IOC and never market orders. In the regular cnx gui you can do that with just 2 clicks(with the bid/offer fly-out). Thats not supported by viking. Are you sure its per RT? I asked the UK branch again (i ...

No - there are no vwap and enhanced vwap options in viking. Im unsure about whats the point of this platform, it has way less functionality and usability than the classic currenex interface.
