Unfortunately no, the account is unfunded. I'm in the process of setting up some accounts over there. I'll give it a try when they're online. Still hoping they can lower standard commissions. But if they can give me some -1 spreads a few times a ...

Justin, is this normal? Shouldn't the ECN be auto-matching these crossed prices? image MB Trading Futures - Introduction

I have to give credit when credit is due. I just saw a 13.5 pip spread on Dukascopy while the spread on EFX was -1. Don't even get me started on the differences in book depth.. image Granted it was a very short-term imbalance, and the spreads ...

Yeah HotSpot has a great ib program. I was putting serious thought into forming my own brokerage/ib relationship with HS last year, until the CFTC came out with the new caps..

All ECN platforms? I've only heard of it on Currenex where I witnessed it first-hand. When I'm seeing 0.5 pip on the majors on most of the other ECN networks, I don't think they're padding. With the ECN aggegators out today, they'd only be losing ...

Ah ok. I went straight to the pro website, and it's just pictures and no info. So they offer a Currenex no-commission padded-spread version? It seems that the terms "Currenex" and "ECN" really shouldn't be associated with each other anymore..

Thanks for starting this thread, I was considering starting one for this pair as well. This has been one of my favorite trading crosses of 2008, a literal pip printing press. Attached is a zoomed out 4-hour chart of the past 2 months. As you can ...

Had to chase it short when it couldn't fulfill the parity test. Sizable drop just now on the hourly trendline break. Hopefully this is just the beginning on the lead up to the oil inventory report.

Yeah the moment I saw Asia, Europe, and the futures all rallying for no apparent reason, it sent off alarms in the back of my head. Coordinated central bank action like we saw this morning has a strong tendency to be leaked in advance. I'm pretty ...

The volume tiers would be fine if the intro rate was a bit more competitive. For high volume scalpers, perhaps it's of little afterthought. My strategies involve highly variable monthly volume. A lower flat rate, regardless of volume, is preferable.

I briefly had an account with ADMD, through an IB (won't make that mistake ever again..). I didn't place any trades because the spreads were downright atrocious (for an ECN). 3 on USD/JPY, 4-5 on AUD/USD, etc. They were so terrible it actually made ...

Be careful on the short side, Hang Seng, Nikkei, european markets, S&P futures are all in the green. The yen crosses are oversold and a further rally in AJ (already 120 pips off the low) could send AU higher from here.

I think the commissions are so high because there are two middlemen in the equation: MBT/EFX and 3DFOREX (and the banks as a third). I imagine that MBT/EFX alone can't lower commissions without renegotiating with 3DFOREX and their partner banks. ...

Unbelievable that oil is at $108 and USDCAD just retraced 200 pips to the upside in the past 2 sessions. I'll admit, this completely broken oil/loonie correlation is perplexing. If we get a test on parity, I might have to back up the truck on the ...
