If your fib retrace was 78.6% it would be even closer to the low of the move. But fib numbers are not meant to be exact. I think either can be used. My preference though is 78.6%

78.6% is the square root of 61.8% as 127.2% is the square root of 161.8% Or more correctly 78.6 is square root of 61.8 then convert to percentages.
