I figured with a 10K account at $1 per pip, my average open trades would be 12. With a $30 SL x 12 = $360..asuming all trades fail = around 4%

I move to BE only after I have taken some profit. No hard and fast rule about it. I can tolerate losing half a trade after taking profit, as I don't see BE as a loss. But it all depends on the individual trader.

If you mean do they often confirm each other, yes they do. But they serve very different purposes. The 3 Tap is not meant to necessarily be a long term trade. In and out hopefully with up to 100 pips. It appeals to traders who want more "action" ...

I think its a great idea, but remember these trades need to be monitored only once a day. Don't forget the SL...like I did on EURCHF last night...it set me back about 200 pips.
