Good to know it was due to some news and not just random friday spikes. I seriously hate financial news and its effects on currencies. Half the time after a spike it ends up right where it started before the news anyway.

That's pretty much what I'm trying to do, risk 3% over my SL for each trade. Then compound or de compound the next day, depending on where my account is at.

Anybody take that big move long on GU in the london session? I saw the set up, but the upcoming news made me chicken out of it. Turns out the news was just feul for it.

mmmm I tried stock 50 pips stops today, instead of behind the last wave. (To make money/risk managment easier) I think 50 is probably fine for UC/GU/EU, but EJ is probably going to need a stock 80-100.

Friday recap — USD/CHF +80, EU +50, EJ -47 I Got up for the london open to see if there was anything happeing. USD/CHF Looked like a good long entry to me, but it really wasn't. I ended up getting caught up in the news spike, which took the ...

I see that at least in the short term that that the GU trade did not work out. I hope that if it didn't hit your SL it comes back for you. Here are some reasons a short on GU should not have been taken IMO. 1. The waves were not set up properly for ...

50 pip stop loss? — What does everyone think of just using a stock 50 pips stop loss? I'm thinking putting the stop under the last wave and dragon tunnel is a good invalidation stop. BUT, over the very short time I've been trading sonic I've ...

EJ +77 — EJ +77, EU +29, GU +11 Manually closed after candles moved up nice and then started to form wicks against me. Also, it was directly after news, so I didn't want to get caught in a correction of a spike. Thinking if I might have been ...

USDCHF -57 — My one trade for today -57 pip loss, long, on UC. In hindsight I think I should have waited until after the news and for the tunnel to have more of in incline. It was pointed up for my long but just a a little. I took it because ...

I dont know crossed the second wave, thinking of just taking it out manually instead of taking my full hit. The other three pairs had all the short move, which has to retrace at least a bit. I noticed that EJ EU and GU generally move in the same ...

UC probably wasn't that great of trade to begin with though, as the tunnel didn't have a great incline. I took it because the waves were damn near perfect.

I wasn't commenting on your SL, that is your choice and below a wave and an EMA isn't bad. I chose mine because I like my stops to be 50 or over and just divide my risk by that. 50 just so they aren't taken out by every little movment.

I'm in that one too, but my SL is under the third wave. I hope we dont get caught in a reversal, after the other three pairs down move is spent.

Three awesome setups on EU/EJ/GU. This is one of those day I wish I was up for the london session.

EJ -45 — I thought it might be more honest and instructional (self as well) to post losses too. -45 pips on the EJ. Originally I cancelled my trade as it is end of session overlap. Then I put the same trade back on when price looked like it ...

Stopped out EJ manually. -45 pips. I should have just stuck by the rules and my own original judgement. "Trade what you see, not what you think," or so Im told.
